Hello all. Week-end is going to end. Still hope you had an amazing week and now pulling up socks . At my place, people are pulling socks down as winter is at its end now. Still, yes socks or no socks you ought to be ready.
Today, I ask you all one question. Have you ever experienced a moment in your life, when you are standing at a crossroad (which you pass by often or regularly) BUT took the different road ? I am not asking you went to grocery shop on left side one day, other day it was closed so you hit the other direction. NO. I am asking about, shifting to your perpendicular life.
PERPENDICULAR LIFE !
Yes, we all know parallel lives. But, perpendicular life means a 90 degree shift. In other words, some part of life is same but it changes as if has to change and you take a turn.
Although, this question is figurative but for me the experience was literally as well !!!!!☺
I have been commuting by metro (Delhi, India) for the past 5 years, daily to my college. 3 years of my graduation (according to Indian education system graduation is of 3 yrs.) Followed by 2 yr post graduation. The last semester was actually a dissertation work and I did from a research laboratory.
Coming back to my experience.During graduation, I used to get down at the metro station and take the left turn enjoying the company of my friends, running, playing, laughing, eating, chatting about n no. of topics, what will we do after the classes?, where will we hang out! Worries included completing the assignments.
But, after almost one and a half years later I am again getting down at the same metro station and taking all together a opposite turn crossing the roads alone (all friends have moved to different cities ) walking fast so that I don't get late, planning my work for the day, hoping that work might end fast and I can get home before night ends and the cycle repeats.
Time and situations change just like clicking of fingers. Isn't it!
The left turn was beautiful and i cherished every moment of it, its a beautiful memory lane now.
The right turn was also beautiful rather necessary as it will lead me towards my future, to bring best in me. To give my talent an exposure. To be at service to my field of expression.
We all cherish such perpendicular turns. And, I wish best to all for all and by all. Cherish memories but keep your vision forward and just breeze with it .
Have a lovely day.
