Good evening to all. Hope you had a great start of the week. Since three
days have already passed and weekend is just a couple of days ahead, I'm sure
that your mind might have started cooking up weekend plans. If not, do some
brain storming, wake the mind chef to cook up some plans to relax your
senses; because work and pleasure should go hand in hand
Different people have different ways to relax their senses and rejuvenate
themselves. For some it's playing computer games, for some it's going out with
friends partying hard and let their hairs flow to the beat of music and for
some it is reading a book that does the wonders. Their are many other ways that
I'm sure your mind is capable enough to find the right act for yourself.
Last weekend I started reading about a grey character, who made name in the
underworld and witnessed his journey from a roadside goon to one of the biggest
mafia of the world. The book is 'Dogri to Dubai' and it's based upon 'Dawood
Ibrahim Kaskar'. The novels is written by a crime journalist turned author, S Hussain Zaidi who make a good research based upon reports available to him, interacting with the mafia's near and dear ones and also had a telephonic interaction with DAWOOD, also known as DON. The novel is beautifully crafted and initiates from his school days and takes readers to his days in Dubai.
I request people not to confuse this post as an act of
dignifying, glamourifying and justifying his act. I strongly condemn it, but
what astonished me or I would say opened my eyes wide is not the muscle power
but the psychological power, in other words the mind power that he had even
being a junior school dropout.
Sharpness of the mind, dedication to make it big, motivation to follow the
path of success and an eagle's eye on the aim. What I'm trying to learn out of
this person or I should say I'm enjoying reading is the person's ability and
the willingness to cross all the hurdles that are bound to come in the path of
success.
To make things crystal clear I am repeating myself again
I strongly condemn his activities and all the ill-deeds that he has done. You can say that I am suggesting that his dad being a policemen himself had channalised his pros in right direction, I am sure he still would have made a big name for himself, but on the right path and in good faith.
So in the end I would sum up by saying that, I'm planning to continue reading this book, coming weekend. What is
your plan? Do comment below and who knows, even I inculcate interest in that.
