On The Way With Analogs: Presence of the Absence !

Hello all ! Today's post is intense as it speaks about presence of the absence ! Yes, you right ! Its simply about people or environment or anything which surrounded you and now its just not there ! Why or How ! You don't know. Its simply not there. Good or bad. Right or wrong - are merely perceptions. The fact is "presence of the absence"

Let me share one of my experiences-

I have lived my childhood in apartments with lots n lots of friends. We used to playing all evening and nights. Be it 40 degrees in summer or 5 degree in winters but playing was simply an unavoidable thing.

We used to have an ice cream seller adjacent to our areas main gate! He was favorite of all children. He used to park his cart near our apartment for whole day. We, whole hell bunch of children each other day would be getting our favorite ice creams from him. He would smile and say thank you. Sometimes, he would give ice cream even if you are not having money and simply say - its okay. Give money tomorrow. Enjoy !

For all of us, it wasn't the seller but the ice cream that was the center of attention! Even if it would have been any other seller , it wouldn't have mattered !

But this thought got the reality check when the seller suddenly stopped coming. And instead another person started coming.

All the what’s and why’s started bumping the head. It has been a decade or so. It is now merely a story. The essence has diminished and I got over……. still its present at back of the sub- conscious.

Why ? May be because it was not just his work. But, more of giving happiness ! For sure, I was at the receiving end but I have cherished those moments. May be a small thank you from my end was missing. We all have such moments, right ! Remember the time, when you wanted a balloon and you got one ! The time when you badly needed the candy and you got one ! The time when you were simply lost and someone - just like that - helped you - made you come out of that problem. May be your teacher, your parents, your love, your friend, stranger, your pet, any one, or simply an ice cream seller !

Moral - enjoy the ice cream but don’t forget to thank the seller. Yeah ! LOL! Isn't it true ! That is, if anywhere your reciprocation is required, do it !

Trust me it will just double the happiness !!!!!!

It makes one feel light and connected.

Never hesitate to say thank you !
Its not just the manners or etiquette. Its beyond - respecting and connecting !

Enjoy every moment of life but express gestures to the known as well as the unknown provider !!!!!
